EYE CANDY EARRINGS PRO
TROUBLESHOOTING:Even though I should be a pro at making earrings by now, sometimes I still slip up when I’m making multiple pairs at a time, and I accidentally put on the earring hooks the wrong way 🤦♀️ There are two ways to fix that, depending on the design of the earring, and what you’re most comfortable with. Repeat this step with all your remaining earrings, then you’re done! 🎉 Go to the second jump ring, open it up, thread your earring hook through it, and close it again. Using your pliers and tweezers, open up one jump ring and thread it through the eye pin connected to one of your Tic Tac boxes, and connect your second jump ring as well, then close it again. Set aside two jump rings for each earrings. YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE: DIY Choc Chip Cookie Button CoversĤ.

Continue with your remaining Tic Tac boxes and eye pins. Since the eye pin is so small, in just two or three complete spins, it should be completely inserted into the Tic Tac box. Grab one of your mini eye pins with your pair of pliers and start to twist and push it into the same place you were just drilling into before. Make sure you do this step for all of your containers first though, depending on how many earrings you intend on making.ģ. My mini hand drill is very delicate, and these containers are quite thick, so it didn’t go all the way through, but it made a good enough indent to be able to move on to the next step. For me, I think it’s just under the “a” in “Tac”, so I started to slowly drill a hole there. Get your hand drill and eye ball where you think the middle of the top of the container is. Be careful not to get the alcohol on the labels so you don’t strip their colour!Ģ. If the alcohol dries up before you’re done, just add another drop or two until you’re done. Since you won’t be eating any of this candy, you won’t need to know when they go out of date. Carefully dip a cotton tip into your isopropyl alcohol and gently wipe off the printed “best before” dates on your Tic Tac containers. ♡ Mini hand drill ( I got mine from Daiso!)ġ. ♡ Two pairs of tweezers and/or jewellery pliers ♡ Mini Tic Tac Boxes ( I found the 62 box at my local Reject Shop, but you can also get them from ebay / Big W / Amazon / Officeworks / Kmart)
